The first public build. Everything below shipped in it.

  • Capture — region, window from a list, full screen, last region and scrolling capture, with an optional delay. Seven default hotkeys, all rebindable.
  • Annotate — arrows, rectangles, ellipses, freehand, highlighter, text, step labels, speech bubbles and emoji, plus align, distribute and group. Every mark stays an editable object in a saved .mycocap project.
  • Redact — one pass finds emails, IPv4 addresses, JWTs, AWS access keys, card numbers, IBANs, US SSNs and UK NINOs, and drops opaque covers over each. Best effort rather than a guarantee, so check before you share.
  • Share — clipboard, file, printer, email, HTTPS webhook, Windows share and toast, plus OCR that copies text straight off the screen.
  • Private by default — no telemetry, EXIF and GPS stripped on export, capture history off until you opt in, and a consent prompt before any remote image is fetched.
  • Automate — capture and redact run headless from a script, both with JSON output.
  • Fit your setup — four themes, 39 languages, and a portable ZIP that keeps every setting in one MycoCap.ini.

Windows 10 v2004 or later, Windows 11, x64, x86 or arm64. Free software under the GPL-3.0-or-later.
